For all the talk about New Jersey?s attempt to allow internet casino gambling, there hasn?t been as much talk about the distinction between the bill that has been batted about in Congress and the Jersey version.
Well, Meadowlands Racetrack operator Jeff Gural is eager to make that distinction. Gural is fine with Congress?s ?internet poker-only? version. But the bill that passed in the Assembly?
?Outrageous,? says Gural:
Gural told me that he considers online poker to be a game of skill, and thus not a competition for casual gambling dollars that might come to the racetrack. But online slots and roulette? That has him hopping mad, as you can see from the story.
